We have listed a range of eating places in the area, in case there is an evening where you do not fancy cooking! Lincolnshire is the largest grower of fresh produce in the country, look out for our famous Lincoln Red Beef, Lincolnshire sausages and just down the road from us you can find Lymn bank who produce handmade cheeses in a whole variety of flavours.

The Barley Mow

The Barley Mow is one of our very favourite local restaurants, and we are very lucky to have it just over 5 miles down the road. They serve a wide variety of home cooked meals, made from local ingredients. Lovely atmosphere throughout the restaurant and pub, make sure you book a table to avoid disappointment.

The Vine

The Vine a very popular restaurant in Skegness serves a wide range of delicious foods. Their superb chef trained locally in a popular AA Rosette Lincolnshire Hotel. He has since been working to enhance the menus in the restaurant, using locally sourced produce with a modern twist to some familiar dishes. He produces exciting new Menus which change seasonally. The Vine also has a large Indian menu which is highly recommended.

Dogs are welcome in the lounge bar area, where food and drink can be served.

San Rufos Italian

San Rufos is our favourite local italian restaurant. A family run restaurant with a diverse and varied menu which caters for all tastes. They are always happy to cater for any special dietary requirements. You can even see the chefs at work cooking their delicious dishes.

The Old Chequers Inn

The old Chequers inn is just a 10 minute stroll from the Cottages and are very dog friendly. It is a very homely pub which is situated at the side of the river Lymne, it is also believed to be the oldest building in Lincolnshire. In the winter they always have a lovely fire, and there is a lovely outdoor seating area for the summer. They serve a wide variety of meals using locally sourced ingredients. We have also had great feedback on their Sunday carvery.

The View

The View is one of our favourite places to visit for lunch and never disappoints. Just a short journey in the car to Winthorpe, or a lovely stroll along the beach from the North parade car park in Skegness, and you can eat alfresco right on the beach. They serve a wide variety of homemade food, amazing milkshakes and gorgeous cakes and coffee. Definitely not to be missed.
