Hardy's Animal Farm

Hardy's Animal Farm is a great day out in over 7 acres of Lincolnshire countryside. You can see pigs being born in our specially glazed breeding unit, and feed the goats, cattle, and many other animals allowing the children to learn about modern farming and interact with animals in a safe and fun environment. There is plenty of space for the kids to run off energy in the adventure playgrounds, while you can relax in the award winning tea room with a hot drink or a bite to eat. Then if the weather is good, you can all go on a relaxing Cart Ride around the Farm with Fergie the Tractor.

Nature Land

FNatureland is well known for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned and injured seal pups that become stranded on Lincolnshire beaches. Visitors can see the seals at various stages of their rehabilitation and hear about the rescue work at feeding times. Natureland isn't just seals! There are lots more beautiful and amazing animals. Watch the amusing antics of the penguins, be amazed by the tropical butterflies, squirm at the reptiles and creepy crawlies, feed the goats in the Pets Corner and marvel at the beautiful tropical fish in the Aquarium.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is a unique visitor attraction and cares for the largest collection of parrots in the UK, but there's more than just parrots at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park it's the perfect fun day out for all the family. Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is just 6 miles down the road from the cottages, but they also have a mini bus running from Skegness regularly. Lincolnshire Wildlife Park has its very own rain forest diner, cockatiel bar, adventure playground, walk through aviary and gift shop.

Fantasy Island

Located in Ingoldmells on the sunny east coast close to Skegness and a stone’s throw from the beach, Fantasy Island is the ultimate destination for all the family. The extreme rides and coasters will test thrillseekers’ nerves, while those looking for something more family-friendly will have plenty of rides, arcades and other attractions to choose from. There are lots for the little ones to enjoy too, including rides, a soft play area and live character shows during the high season. Gibraltar Point

Gibraltar Point is a dynamic stretch of unspoilt coastline running southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. Gibraltar Point impresses by its sheer scale and diversity of wildlife but to appreciate it fully you need to see it in different seasons. In spring, when the first of the migrants stop off to refuel or establish territories. In summer, little terns may be seen fishing in the shallows and skylarks are in full song above the purple haze of the saltmarshes. In autumn, huge whirling flocks of waders can be seen on the high tides. And in winter, there brent geese, shorelark and snow bunting as well as flocks of redwing and fieldfare.

Batemans Brewery

Just a 5 minute drive to the next village, based in an old windmill dating back two centuries and overlooking the River Steeping, Batemans Brewery is one of the oldest and most picturesque breweries in the country. The Visitors Centre, known for 'Fun Food and Froth', is home to a range of attractions that will keep the whole family entertained. Visitors from across the globe come to the Brewery to enjoy an exciting day out, filled with games and competitions, Brewery tours, great Lincolnshire food and interesting displays with artefacts dating back to 1899. Throughout the Visitors Centre there is displays of the old and new bottled beers from around the world and on the ceiling a great range of brewery/drink related posters.
